DE SMET S.J., De Nobili College, Poona, India )〕 Father Fernandes taught psychology at Saint Patrick's College, Karachi from 1962-64.〔(Business Recorder October 08, 2008 )〕 He has also been a Professor at the Christ the King Seminary (Pakistan). He is a gifted preacher and from 1966 to 1975 was a regular preacher at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Karachi. Together with Tim Heinsch, he formed the first Franciscan community in Bangkok in 1985.〔(Franciscan Foundation of Thailand )〕 In 1987 he went to the US to do a course in Transactional Analysis.
